So... PC Gaming is dying. Should I care?

Well, obviously I should. At least after it is dead, because I don't own any console and it would be very sad if I´m unable to play new games on my powerful PC.

I haven't owned a new console since the early 90s, on 1991 I got a Nintendo (NES 8-bit), and that was my last console, since then I have been playing games on my PC at home. I have been tempted to buy a console several times, but then I realized it would be foolish because i wouldn't have time to play with it. Just like lmchv, he owns a Wii, we owns a DS, he is planing to buy a PS3, but he still owns several games he haven't even started.

I still have like 20 games I have bought on the last 3 years, and I haven't even installed them. So when I found out that games like "The Simpsons: The Videogame" or "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" won't come to PC, after being a little mad a couple of days, then I realized I was a blessing because I will save time and money by not playing them. I still have a list of games I would like to buy, and some games I'm looking forward, like: Half Life: Episode 3, Alan Wake, Far Cry 2, Spore, Project Origin, Rage, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Starcraft 2, Diablo III, Left 4 Dead, Duke Nukem: Forever (yeah, right!), etc... that would keep me entertained for several years (without counting my MMORPG subscriptions)...

So, why should I *really* care if PC gaming is dying, there are still a lot of games to play. So I will enjoy undead PC gaming for at least the next 50 years...

Right now I'm playing Halo 2 for Windows Vista and The Longest Journey...
